Small Business Immediate Flood Relief Program

Are you eligible? 

  • Are you located in an eligible local government area?
  • Do you have an ABN on and from 14 October 2022? 
  • Have you been registered for GST on and from 14 October 2022? 
  • Have you incurred significant and direct damage from flooding to your place of business, business assets, stock or equipment? 

If you answered yes to all of the above, you may be eligible. 

What can you receive?
A one-off payment of $5,000 and dedicated business relief Advisors. 

How to apply:
You need to prove that your business passes the eligibility. You apply through the Business Victoria website here.

Alternatively, if you would like us to apply on your behalf, please reach out for other options. You will need to apply before 13 January 2023.

Business and Community Sport Flood Recovery Grants

Are you eligible? 

  • Are you located in an eligible local government area?
  • Have you suffered direct damage due to premises and/or tools of trade (e.g. equipment, plant)
  • Are you primarily responsible for meeting the costs claimed? 
  • Do you intend to re-establish your business or organisation in the same local government area?
  • Are you able to provide satisfactory evidence of loss or damage?
  • Have you been engaged in carrying on the business when affected by the floods?
  • Do you continue to meet the eligibility criteria for either the Small Business Immediate Flood Relief Program (above) or the Community Sport Emergency Flood Assistance Program?

If you answered yes to all of the above, you may be eligible. 

What can you receive?
Funding of up to $50,000. 

How to apply:

You must first successfully apply for the $5,000 flood relief program. Then, if you meet the eligibility you can apply for tier 1, then tier 2 of the recovery grants.

Free, confidential, one-on-one support from local business relief advisors

How to access
Either: 

  • Fill in the form on the Business Victoria website to express your interest
  • Call Business Victoria on 13 22 15 and they will connect you with dedicated business relief advisors
